一月一日當天在南加州洛杉磯(Los Angeles)旅遊攻略地區除了有玫瑰花車遊行(Rose Parade)可以看之外還可以到小東京 (Little Tokyo)參加非常有日本風味的小東京正月祭(Oshogatsu Festival). 慶典從上午11點開始在小東京的Weller Court, Japanese Village 以及 Frances Hashimoto Plaza都有活動.

10:50 am - 11:30 am: Opening Ceremonies - Weller Court (Stage Performance: Japanese Taiko Drumming, Japanese Traditional Dance, Kendo, Food booths, Mochi Making, Beer Booth, etc.)
2) Japanese Village Schedule
12:00 pm - 3:30 pm: Japanese Village Plaza Program (Stage performance (Japanese Taiko Drumming, Japanese Traditional Dance, Kendo, Mochi Making, etc.)
3) Frances Hashimoto Plaza (near Japanese Plaza)
11:00 am - 3:30 pm (Arts, Crafts and Games for children and much more!)
